This tour begins with a stopover in Colombo, allowing you to wind down after the long flight, and ends with a night at a beach resort in Negombo. In-between you will visit 7 National Parks and Nature Reserves.

PINNAWELA - DAMBULLA |
| After breakfast, go on a city tour of Colombo before leaving for Giritale. En route visit the ever popular elephant orphanage in Pinnawela. Also visit Dambulla Rock Temple. Dating from the 1st century B.C., the cave monastery, with its five sanctuaries, is the largest and best preserved cave-temple complex in Sri Lanka. MINERIYA - KAUDULLA |

SIGIRIYA - KANDY |
| After breakfast leave for Kandy. On the way visit the impressive 5th century Sigiriya rock fortress. Also visit a spice garden in Matale to see the different spices which Sri Lanka is famous for. Check in to hotel. In the afternoon visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and Kandy town. In the evening visit the Temple of the Tooth and see a cultural show featuring traditional Sri Lankan dancing. NUWARA ELIYA |
| After breakfast visit a tea plantation and tea factory. You can also see how tea is graded and taste a cup of pure Ceylon tea in the factory. HORTON PLAINS - YALA |
| After an early breakfast leave for Horton Plains, a bleak plateau of montane cloud forests some 6500ft above sea level and home to a variety of wild animals and hill birds. Explore the plains by jeep and trek to 'World’s End', a sheer precipice of 3700ft with spectacular views all the way to the Indian Ocean. Return to Nuwara Eliya and leave for Yala via Ella & Wellawaya - a very scenic route through the southern highlands. Check in to hotel for dinner and overnight stay. Yala Village 3* |

YALA NATIONAL PARK |
| Morning at leisure. In the afternoon go on a wildlife jeep safari in Yala National Park. Yala is a particularly good place to see elephants, and probably has the world's highest concentration of leopards. Sloth bears, jackals, mongoose, pangolin, crocodile, wild boar, deer, water buffalo, gray langur and wild peacocks can also be seen. (Yala is closed in September and October).
